Napa Valley is far away. Wine country isn't. Long Island vineyards are producing some incredible wines and New Yorkers only have to take a short trip to find the East Coast's own wine country. If you'd like a little eduction behind you before ordering a LI wine or taking a trip, Astor Wine Center is offering two Long Island Wine classes, one white and one red, hosted by some Long Island producers for $45. The Urban Naturalist will be there on Saturday, May 10th for the Red Wine class, red-toothed and proud.
