Moving some Earth

I've been listening to a lot of Earth's The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull, a record made for the changing season. Talk about a band that has transitioned. Earth went from creating a genre in the early nineteen nineties (sludge-metal), to a band that disappeared (that happens when you are responsible for buying Kurt Cobain the gun that he killed himself with), to a band that has reemerged, transformed. It's beautiful, haunting, and damn near perfect for a slow, coffee-filled, fall daydream.
